Cantor Noam Rakovsky
Rabbi Eliezer Havivi, Beth David Congregation, Greensboro, October 14, 2005:
Dear Noam,
Yishar Koach! I am delighted that our "shidduch" turned out so well for this past yomtov. Your energy and warmth really “turned on” our congregation. It was a pleasure to spend time with you over the yamim Noraim, and to share the bimah with you, and to harmonize with you, and to simply enjoy your davening. Your willingness to coach the simcha choir was much appreciated, and their singing with you added a very good feeling to all of us. The feedback is unanimous – everyone thought it was the best Yomtov yet, and they all hope that you will return to lead our davening next year. Me too.
Please thank Galit for me, for letting you come to us over the chagim.
Wishing you a sweet and healthy and fulfilling new year.
Shalom.
Rabbi Eliezer Havivi.

Carter Greene president - Shaare Tikvah Bnai Zion Congregation, Chicaco, September 12, 2010:
Dear Noam and Galit,
On behalf of the entire congregation, I again wanted to thank you for making High Holiday experience of Shaare Tikvah Bnai Zion very enjoyable and memorable. It is not just that you have a very beautiful voice, but your presence on the Bima and desire to involve everyone in the service are what made things truly special.
On a personal note, it was a great pleasure to have gotten to know both of you. I enjoyed the social opportunities we had, both at dinner and at Leonard and Ruth’s house. I hope in the future we can bring both of our families together as well. I hope you take seriously the offer to return again next year with your children. Since we both have kids of the same age, I think this could be a great experience for them. They will find a few differences and many similarities.
So again, a heartfelt thank you for helping to make my Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur very special and meaningful. Enjoy the rest of the Holidays with your family. I look forward to maintaining our friendship into the future.
Sincerely,
Carter Greene.
